Pepper saxifrage - silaum silaus – prefers damp soils and still grows in old hay meadows that have been managed by traditional farming methods. In gardens, Pepper saxifrage can also be grown on drier soils and introduced into grassy areas where plants will eventually self seed. Pepper saxifrage produces creamy yellow flowers that appear from June to August. Plants looks best growing with wildflowers such as Oxeye daisies, Black Knapweed, Yellow Rattle, Meadow Cranesbills, Great Burnet and Ragged Robin

How to grow Pepper saxifrage Seeds
Pepper saxifrage seeds should be sown in the autumn, either outside, where they are to flower, or in seed trays and covered lightly with compost. Trays should be left outside over the winter and covered with a sheet of glass or put in a cold frame. Germination should occur the following spring and the seedlings can be pricked out and grown on, for planting out later in the year.
