Common Meadow-Rue -thalictrum flavum– is a wetland plant that grows best on damp soil and is found in ditches and water meadows where it attracts a variety of insects including bees. Common Meadow-Rue typically grows to about 1 metre in height and produces pale yellow flowers from July to September. Common Meadow-Rue looks best growing amongst other wetland plants with similar flowering times for example, Purple loosestrife, Hemp agrimony, Gypsywort, Fleabane, Meadowsweet and Water Mint.

How to grow Common Meadow-Rue Seeds
Common Meadow-Rue seeds should be sown in autumn, either outside, where they are to flower, or in seed trays and covered lightly with compost. The seedlings, can be pricked out and grown on, for planting out later in the year.
