Perfect for pollinators

Wild Candytuft -iberis armara – grows on bare ground in dry soils and full sun where plants attract a wide range of insect life such as Bees, Butterflies and Ladybirds. It is well suited to soils that contain chalk or limestone and in gardens can be grown on patches of well-drained bare soil. Wild Candytuft has clusters of white flowers that appear in July and August. Plants looks best growing with other cornfield annuals such as Lesser Snapdragon, Pheasant’s eye, Corn Buttercups, Cornflowers and Poppies.

How to grow Wild Candytuft Seeds
Wild Candytuft seeds should be sown in spring or autumn, outside, where they are to flower, and covered lightly with soil.

RHS Perfect for Pollinators.
The RHS Perfect for Pollinators mark is only given to plants that support pollinating insects in gardens. Bees, butterflies, moths, hoverflies and many others visit flowers to feed on nectar and pollen; while doing so they transfer pollen and increase seed set and fruit development.
