Postage + packing is based on order value. The rates below* also cover mixed orders for seeds and bulbs. In other words you can order a mixture of products with staggered delivery times and will only be charged the one carriage charge shown below.

This site accepts the following 4 methods of payment which you are able to choose from when you reach our checkout. (Please note we are unfortunately UNABLE to accept credit or debit card payments orders placed over the phone)

1. Credit/Debit card. Our site uses Pay 360 by Access (previously Pay 360 by Capita) complete online payment service. By selecting this option you will be taken to the Pay 360 secure website where payment for your order can be made using most major cards. We operate with 3D secure and are fully pci compliant offering you the maximum levels of security.

2. PayPal. You will need to have a PayPal account to use this option.

3. Cheque Send a Cheque to accompany your order, (full instructions will be at the bottom of the confirmation e mail that you will receive after submitting your order).

4. Bank Direct Transfer >>> SAFE AND SECURE !! <<< (through the Faster payments banking system. If you have telephone or internet banking you instruct your bank to pay the correct amount straight into our bank account. Our account details will be shown when you register as a customer and on the bottom of the confirmation e mail you will receive after submitting your order).

*Please note - surcharges apply to deliveries in the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Isle of Mann, Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands - we will inform you of these when your order is submitted, cost is to be paid separately.


SEEDS will be delivered all year round, usually within 2- 7 working days if in stock. Small orders under £50 are typically dispatched within a couple of days and medium-large sized orders where significant packing work is often involved, are typically sent out at weekends.

Small/Medium seed orders (up to approx 2Kg) are normally dispatched by 2nd class post and will be with you in a few days. Larger orders (over 2Kg) or £100 will generally be dispatched by "signed for" delivery or courier.

We generally try to maintain stock of all seeds shown for sale on our website, however our stock levels fluctuate greatly on a daily basis  so orders occasionally need to be delayed a few days until fresh stock arrives which typically takes 3-8 working days. Availability of individual seeds can also vary according to the time of year and harvests, so if there are any availability issues that could delay your order by more than 2 weeks we will normally contact you. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your order to arrive before chasing, particularly during busy periods of spring and autumn.  If you require seed orders more urgently then please contact us before ordering to check availabilities. 

BULBS can be ordered at any time of year, but will be delivered between Mid October and the end of November for autumn planting. Delivery generally by 1st class post or courier. For Autumn dispatch, please ensure orders reach us by the end September. 

SNOWDROPS "IN THE GREEN"  orders will be held on file and plants dispatched freshly lifted in March.

Please note that we need to be advised well in advance of any periods when customers would wish us to avoid dispatch such as holiday periods. We are more than happy to meet such requests but do need to be given reasonable notice particularly with plant orders. Unfortunately we can not be held responsible for damaged goods returned to us having not been signed for or collected after a reasonable period of time. 

If you would like goods to be left in a safe place, in the event that you are out on their arrival, please inform us by using the " special comments" field at the checkout. Whilst we are happy to pass such requests to the delivery company, unfortunately we can not guarantee that they will be met, particularly where a signature may be required (usually only for larger, more valuable parcels). Goods left in a "safe places" are done so entirely at the customer`s own risk and we can not be held responsible for missing goods where a "safe place" has been requested. If customers are not in to receive initial delivery of "signed for" or large parcels then delivery companies should always leave a call card for re-arrangement of delivery or customer collection.


Unfortunately we are unable to accept orders from outside of England, Scotland and Wales.
This is because of various restrictions applying to export of Wildflower seeds.

We dispatch to addresses within England, Scotland and Wales  only and unfortunately it is not possible for us to send orders to countries outside these areas through this website. Any orders received stating delivery addresses outside the U.K. will be refunded and subject to an administration fee.
